as for me, when I run command, which actually make low brightness, it make its job, but when I lock and unlock device, brighness get usual level.
maybe simple brighness applet do this, or it's normal behavior

Before i decided to stop the development i updated the package with what i had. I had this request on my mail to change the brightness, the pure code, and i didnt even bother to try it out (except changed the value to 3).

Everything is as open as it gets, the editor too. Feel free to mod it any way you want.

Made a quick search, and it seems like it needs a separate daemon. I recommend that you just stick to your standard way to change the brightness, like Simple Brightness Applet.

yes I use Simple Brightness Applet...but it will be usefull in your script :-)

First of all, Thank you for this app! I've been waiting for something like this for a long time!

One request: even though development has stopped on this app, if someone continues this project in the future, can we fix the spelling of the word "Cellular" on the savepress-editor?
