Thanks, but i can't find the backupeverything folder anywhere.
I put it in MyDocs/backups/backup
but it won't work when i restore it in backpeverything so i guess that's wrong folder

Try to use backup everything and create a backup first. It will create all the folder structure(choose all the items to be backed up like sms, mms etc). Then go to backupeverything folder in mydocs
You can find the apn folder in it. copy the file atached by me in that folder.

No wonder i couldn't find it.
It still doesn't work unfortunately, the backup app restores the apn,
(it works because it doesn't say nothing restored)
But when i go to mobile networks > APN i still get the blank APN screen, there's no apn files that was supposed to be restored..

Isn't there anyway to do this manually?
Where's the folder where nitdroid stores the apn settings anyway?

Is there any file in the apn folder. If yes delete all the files. copy the file which i gave you. Remove the .txt extension and use restore. it should work.

I'm sure you checked the nitdroid forums but android forums might be another good resource. I know that some Vodafone guys were having problems and I believe they said something about leaving the settings as default (or part of it default) and it worked.
You might try to save any APN and then edit it later to reflect the actual APN values.

for me on vodafone i just set name to vodafone UK and apn to wap.vodafone.co.uk. leave everything else as they are, not set ect ect now save and it should work. hope this helps

Actually after i made a backup, there was no "apn" folder so i had to make one, the name is apn right?
Which is strange, because I'm pretty sure i already ticked apn ..all options were ticked..

Well, there were 4 minimum values that must not be blank.
Name, APN, MSC and MMC so i had to put a number on those 4 or else it gives me "..must be 3 character or less!" error
You can see it in my video.

honestly dont touch any other setting other than name and apn like i said before. leave everything else as they are mmc proxy port everything . just change name to vodafone UK and apn to wap.vodafone.co.uk and save this will work if on vodafone.in your video you change other things aswell as name and apn DONT JUST CHANGE NAME vodafone UK
APN wap.vodafone.co.uk lock slider on side and save

this works for me on 0.0.8 0.0.9 and gingerbread versions and i have 0.0.9 and gingerbread running of partitions 5/6 on emmc respectivly with maemo in a triple boot setup and can use 3g on both nitdroids with these settings

Wow at first i got "MCC field must be at least 3 characters!" error, so i put in random number in MCC and MNC (510 and 10), save it but it still doesnt work.
But after i reboot, IT'S THERE AT LAST:D

Thanks alot, i'm gonna try editing it now.
