On a related note, please don't install a custom kernel if you have no idea what a kernel is. I am really sick of all these "help plzzzz" threads from people who borked their n900s and can't figure out how to reflash the kernel.

How can you overclock without the power kernel? Flashing it to another kernel other than Titan's?

You can't - installing kernel power settings installs the kernel as a dependency.

Power Kernel. Load the lower voltage settings and even though you are overclocked you are running undervoltage meaning less power drain = longer battery.

You don't need proof, you need to do some research.

Overclocking might lead to data corruption and other issues, and might even physicly brick your device (meaning that it can't be fixed by a reflash), even if people in the forum tell you it's perfectly safe; you've been warned.
