To fix this:

find and open:
/usr/lib/hildon-desktop/mobilevikings.py

then change
c.setopt(pycurl.URL, 'https://%s:%s@mobilevikings.com/api/1.0/rest/mobilevikings/%s.xml' % (urllib.quote_plus(self.username), urllib.quote_plus(self.password), action))

into
c.setopt(pycurl.URL, 'https://%s:%s@mobilevikings.com/api/2.0/basic/%s.xml' % (urllib.quote_plus(self.username), urllib.quote_plus(self.password), action))

(change highlighted)

Today changed SIM from Ortel to Mobile Vikings
Easiest and fastest transfer I ever had.....:)
Came home from work at 16.15u
Send sms, charged account, could be up to 3 days before activation.......as noted on the letter
New Sim activated on 16.50u on a friday !!!
Did a backup on device but didn't need it at all,
Settings for connection and MMS are the same as before
And on top your widget is working great.....
