Re: [n00b friendly Guide] How to enable Flash In Fennec (Firefox Mobile) 4b6pre
For me Fennec's biggest shortcoming has been Flash. I'll see if I'll have interest to install this.
The second shortcoming is it pulling up mobile sites instead of full ones. Why should I be interested in going back to mobile sites when MicroB's attraction has all along been full site access (and ability to handle them)? Also, it just seems that everything from startup to loading pages is a little slower on Fennec. So there's really not much else going for it, except proper graphical settings page, tabs and the eye candy. |

I don't think 4.x pulls Mobile sites more often than microB. If it does for you, just change the browser id.

It pulls alot more mobile sites, but i prefer this, microB is my full on home browser, if i rendered full pages on 3g/hsdpa id find my (FAKE) unlimited internet running out, so far FF is coming on quite nicely for the n900.

@cjp
There is a cool addon called Phony that lets you switch user agent on the fly from settings menu. No more mobile sites. Also the latest nightly Qt builds are amazingly fast compared to earlier builds. Once started it is on par with microB. :) Edit: Turns out mailto is broken (only) in the Qt build. |

Point 2. updated regarding problematic nightly builds and nightly repo state.
