i know, but, they should make a n8x0 team and a n900 team, not one team focused on the n900.
everybody know n900 is better, but n8x0 can be better too, but not like a n900.

The N8x0 can get a new life, it's more simple, if it get an stable nitdroid, haha, it will be much, much better

and Nitdroid 0.0.8 ? it works with n8x0 ? do you have links ?

These people are developing NITDroid in their free time and not asking anything for their work, I think it is up to them to decide what is worth spending their time on.

But if you want NITDroid developed more for the N8x0, then you are quite welcome to work on it yourself, maybe you could start the N8x0 team.

It seems that dj_steve is focusing his efforts on Dell Streak nowdays. So it's mainly e-yes who's been working with NITDroid lately. With no breakthrougs on ofono and mic stuff, there's not so much to do. Everyone wants the phonecalls, and I think he's been a bit fed up with the people who aren't satisfied for the smaller updates.

I think the bigger problem is, that with no official support from Nokia good devs keep leaving N900 and moving on to other platforms. The community deserves more, and the overall forum activity is still overwhelming in a very positive way. But how long will it last?

e-yes doesn't make it easy to help him, they blocked all new registrations at the forum, and there's nothing i saw on the forum or wiki that says what to do if you want to help. not that i'm volunteering.

dj_steve isn't on nitdroid team now, i guess he's only on dell streak :mad:

If someone help me, i can develeop a "New" Nitdroid for the N8x0...

The registrations have been block due to a massive influx of spam.
No one is able to install a patch on the forum software except Steve, and he does not frequent there anymore, or at least not very often. So to stop the spam, registrations have been canceled.

Although, they should fix this issue and at least make a way for new members to join...
