Anybody knows direct way for segmentation fault in the application?
I can't find an error. :(
The new version works stably in my device.

Probably it's language dependant? Might that be? I see widget and app mostly localized to german and some cities contain umlauts like "Lübeck" as well as some weather related strings ("überwiegend bewölkt"). Using gismeteo.ru I don't get as much information as I got when using weather.com but for now at least all strings seem to be localized while some strings from weather.com were not.

Vlad, would the logfile be useful to you? Whereas logfile is not correct word, it's the normal output of omweather when started from commandline. I guess you could get the same output on your device as it's not related to the crash and only contains errors and warnings regarding malformed XML and such stuff.

I just had this problem after I updated today, solved it by uninstalling anything related to omweather and installing again from extras. I can see the update again if I enable extras-devel but I'm ignoring it obviously.

I've found a source of the problem and released the bug-fix version - 0.28.12. Try it.

OK, after nearly one week of testing and trying and playing around I can say, the new version seems to be more stable than the one before. Currently I'm only using omweather, weather.com database and gismeteo.ru database. No additional icon packs and animation turned off.

But still I had the issue of complete crash of hildon desktop and loss of all widgets. This happened right after switching one city from gismeteo.ru to weather.com when app tried to fetch the data. The difference is that in previous version I had no chance to get the widgets back as long as omweather widget was defined on one desktop (I'm using actman for switching between and reloading desktop layout). Now I can reload current "activity" and get all widgets back including omweather. But I don't have a clue what exactly makes omweather crash the desktop.

Does the extras version also crash the desktop?

Don't think so. guess it's related to devel version only. But I'm not sure.
