It's nice and all you've done a guide for people new to Linux but could you spell properly, it's awful to read D:

Sound works in "v3d" too, you just need to initialize it... through X-term in maemo.... see the first post.... :)

well almost all debbie applications support portrait mode.. and now that CSSU has given "Orientation-Lock" in the menu directly it not an issue now... it even rotates "angry-birds" :D
but before that i used "Shortcutd" with "long camera key-press action" as "Toggle-Rotation" :)

I can't get CSSU to do orientation / rotation :S

for "rotation" even i have to use shortcutd every now and then... just install Shortcutd and set "Cam Key Long press" Or "Proximity" to "Toggle Rotation"...
it helps me to rotate most of the apps including "Angry Birds"

Also how to add applications from "start" menu to desktop? When i hold mouse cursor on app i get "Add to desktop" option, but when I click that nothing happens
