You can try to install filebox and set it to be root and then go to the folder where you got the images and try to delete them.

You can also try to type sudo gainroot and then cd to /home/user/MyDocs/.images (or replace .images with DCIM if itīs pictures taken with the camera and remove with the rm command. Use the command ls to see whats in the directory.

Using Filebox didn't work. Even setting it to root and enabling it to view hidden fils, I still can't find them in any of my folders.

I don't understand the last thing you suggested.

God, this is making me feel stupid

I have some photos on my phone memory and some on my memory card. I removed some from both locations via my laptop.

I don't know where these read-only files actually are, they don't show up in my documents, only when I click "photos" from the main menu and it is set to show all photos.

No I can't.

But I've solved it! I plugged my phone back into the laptop, went to the images folder, went to properties and unchecked the box that said "Attributes->Read-only"

Now they aren't there any more.

Thankyou for all your helpy, though, guys! :D

Edit: No. They're back again. Damnit.

The little ones that look like a broken thumbnail are the ones I'm trying to get rid of them. When I try to delete, it says "unable to delete", when I try to view details, it says "details not available" and when I try to view the images, it says "Image no longer available".
