how do i download the dependencies on my PC nd then transfer it to my cell???

No, you don't need to touch your PC. You open the built-in terminal application on your N900 connect to a network and type in as root: apt-get -f install

PS: you became root on your N900 by typing in 'root'.

To find out the dependencies of a given package (eg preenv):

Code:

$ root

# apt-cache depends preenv

preenv

  Depends: libc6

  Depends: libdbus-1-3

  Depends: libdbus-glib-1-2

  Depends: libgconf2-6

  Depends: libglib2.0-0

  Depends: libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0

  Depends: libgstreamer0.10-0

  Depends: libhildonmime0

  Depends: libjson-glib-1.0-0

  Depends: liblocation0

  Depends: libosso-gnomevfs2-0

  Depends: libosso1

  Depends: libsdl-gles1.2-1

  Depends: libsdl1.2

  Depends: libsmpeg0

  Depends: libvorbisidec1

  Depends: libx11-6

  Depends: libxml2

  Depends: zlib1g

  Depends: libgles1-sgx-img

  Depends: libgles2-sgx-img

  Depends: libsdl-net1.2

Then for each of those pacakges, check the dependencies they require. Repeat.

But really, this is the manual, laborious hard way of doing it.
