Nothing wrong. Who cares what labels are on the device, as long as it suite our needs and performs perfectly, right?

Why not take the time out to test out the ones you've excluded to make sure you won't give them a full chance or not.

I'm sure that would work out in your favor moreso than asking a Maemo forum about their opinion - it'll invariably be a bit biased.

I say take your time to decide. Nothing will be happening in a few areas of mobile phone OS for a while.

Define support?

What on earth do you need support on and why does it have to be Nokia's support? - The whole idea of having a device that is unlocked, free of rules, means you have the freedom to do what you like with it and when you get stuck and need help you visit a website like Maemo.org that has like minded people who have used the device and experienced the problems and can give you quick answers to your problems. There is your support. What more do you need?

Go and look at the Android forums and read the many people complaining about the lack of support from HTC or Samsung, or Motorola... It's the same everywhere.

Honestly, stop grumbling about nothing!

Fix the parts that need fixing perhaps?

I mean, the Samsung Galaxy S has perhaps one of the worst (out of the box) GPS' out there.

The community over at XDA fixed it first; however Samsung did push out an update.

That's one example. I could give a few others if need be since the lack of support is somehow overlooked on the closed bits that Nokia has yet to release full code to/for.

I'm waiting for the PalmPre3 to come out in the UK and hopefully I can get a contact to let me try one before jumping ship :D
