Re: information needed

ok then, YOU take the time to write a mentalist traceur style essay on what RAM is so this person can ignore it and ask further dumb questions.

The first thing I do when somone uses a term or refers to a mechanism that I don't know is quickly look it up. If the guy was asking somthing REALLY complex like some specific differances between ARM assembler and THUMB code that was not really explained anywhere obviously then maybe you would have place to speak. However he was asking what RAM is.

RAM.

****ing RAM.

Basic computer principle 101.

1. He could have found out faster by typing RAM into the search bar (a net search engine) and ggotten a result far faster than he has spent being insulted here by Jedi and I for being such a recalcitrant noob.

2. STFU abill_troll.

This community stands for a lot more than answers like....

More simple? OK - try this...

google

Not very friendly is it !.

And you consider your post to be helpful then?

Seriously, a quick google for a couple of minutes can answer this question far better than I could put into words. I don't have much time for people who expect to be spoon-fed information just because they can't be bothered to engage brain and try and help themselves.

I guess this forum is changing now for the worst, probably due to the bad treatment from Nokia.

I remarked on the comments left for the OP and was suprised to see patience is at an all time low now on this forum.

I can remember the days not so long back when people were a lot more giving on this forum..... oh well sigh.

And yet you still haven't contributed any help whatsoever to the OP's question.

As I've already stated, spoon-feeding does not help anyone. With basic questions such as the OP's, there's stacks and stacks and stacks of info out there - why duplicate here?

OP (stands for original poster, in case OP doesn't know), RAM stands for Random Access Memory. I don't know the specifics, but it's used to hold temporary information that every program generates when running.

Other than that, while those guys are being blunt, they do have a point: You should get used to looking for basic information (this is like Computer Science 101) such as this by yourself.

edit: Here, lots of topics on subject

You have totally missed my point but there again it seems to be common place now on here.

Spoonfeeding helped you when you was a baby yes?.
