I think you just disabled them and did end task. You need to disable and then let app manager do the checking for update. don't run apt-get update now. And also the dependency error is associated with qtwebruntime preview package for N900. |
Re: Accidentally Uninstalled Python and I cant reinstall due to conflicting packages
i let app manager check for updates then i ran apt-get update
what do i do to get rid of the preview package as it wont how up on FAPMAN and HAM just shows a black screen?/??? |
Re: Accidentally Uninstalled Python and I cant reinstall due to conflicting packages
Also you don't have extras-devel enabled.

Re: Accidentally Uninstalled Python and I cant reinstall due to conflicting packages
open HAM
select download and wait till the list of apps shows now open catlogs keep only following enabled nokia applicationa nokia system software updates maemo.org extras-devel(if its not there just add it ) disable every other repo. now let HAM update. after update is complete. then first do apt-get autoremove (to remove any broken packages qt webruntime in your case i assume) now do apt-get install cutetube |

HAM(inbuilt app manager) try HAM also its missing dependency error. Also try a reboot.Sometime apt-get stuck at one error message. and will always show it whatever you try. |
Re: Accidentally Uninstalled Python and I cant reinstall due to conflicting packages
ill try that thanks but HAM is taking forever to open....just shows the bar and checking for updates

Re: Accidentally Uninstalled Python and I cant reinstall due to conflicting packages
i disabed the repos on FAPMAN so should i re enable and then just disable on HAM?
|
Re: Accidentally Uninstalled Python and I cant reinstall due to conflicting packages
Try HAM because as you see via apt-get update few repos are still enabled even after disabled by FPMAN.
A reboot should work if its a stuck error message (happens many time to me) |

Also after disabling from HAM and you stuck at checking for updates.just stop it and do apt-get update. Now you must see that no other repo is updating . |
