Re: Routers with WEP enabled issue
RobMtl007: Here's a direct link to the xterm one-click-install package, you may have more luck with this but unfortunately with a dodgey WiFi connection it's going ot be pot luck!
http://maemo-hackers.org/osso-xterm.install How about downloading xterm over a Bluetooth/Phone connection if you have one? |
Re: Routers with WEP enabled issue
Read the bug page.. talk about arrogant reply by the (presumed) Nokia representative! Checked all the 3 routers in the world, did he?

Re: Routers with WEP enabled issue
Greetings:
After entering every number in the command line that Milhouse suggested. I am still having problems opening HTTPS Websites. I think its something to do with Linksys B routers. Because as I've been saying for 1,000,000th time, everytime I'm at my favorite Internet Cafe, they have a Linksys G router, the N800 works perfectly. I'm not a Linux programer, just a user that wants to use the N800 at home. Am I allowed to do that? If I upgrade to a Linksys G router and it will be WEP enabled will I still have this problem?
