im having the same problem please anyone can guide me because im new in operating n900 dont know the commands and other stuff :confused:...

you need to open up X Terminal and type this when you see a $ prompt:
tracker-process -r

Its not that hard.

The last Marble update solved the problem for me. In the description has been something mentioned concerning the media library. After the update I did a restart and all my media has been visible again.
