Hi guys ... there is hope 4 us: I know (don't ask from where or wo ... ) Samsung sees future in Linux-based Mobile Linux for "Smarter Phones". Maybe MobLin? Or even Maemo? I don't know details, but there are guys there working on it. Let's hope that Samsung will soon take the position of Nokia.

This phone comes with many promises I expect them to break.
But in the end, would come out to be better than any competitor Android/iOS/WebOS phones ... unless they step up their game!

I would put more hope in CordiaTAB. At least we know, that not only CPU, but also DSP drivers are supported here (Smoku claims, that he's using current Cordia alpha on it)

Raster (of Enlightenment) has made noise about SLP, and their distaste for Android. They don't really like MeeGo either, but they do like Linaro so there is some level of compatibility between the platforms.

If this is where Samsung is going (with the fully upstream stack) then there may be a lot of flexibility on Samsung devices (assuming one buys unlocked...) but for now it's a lot of noise.
