Me and many people here have been angry about Nokia not putting any effort or resources into Maemo/meego marketing....

Be careful what you wish for. These ****ing idiots might actually suddenly show up to do some marketing and destroy what ever credibility Maemo/Meego has left.

Am I missing something? Dubstep is in 5th place in terms of facebook likes. How did it win? There's one with 39,000 votes, but let's go with dubstep guy who only got 1000?

And you guys can totally calm down, it's an optional ringtone, not a default one.

I just hope they don't show up on our doors and try to destroy our Maemo/MeeGo running devices.

They are Not replacing the Classic Tune, the new one and old one will be pre-loaded alongside eachother.

Lot of people are getting the wrong idea thinking its being replaced.
even if it was being replaced whats it matter the current tune is about the 5th one they have had, the tune as been updated many times just people never noticed

Of course it changed for the better. Would you prefer listening to a monophonic melody on your N9???

It's going to be the default ringtone.

That is one of the dumbest marketing decisons ever. There's absolutely no excuse for doing something as absurd as this. Minor detail maybe, but one that shows how all talent has left Nokia. Error like this should have been stopped at some point in the decision making process.

its not the default one its one that will be pre-loaded and seriously who actually uses the Nokia ringtones?
