Re: Nemo Mobile release announcements

If you are not announcing a new release of Nemo you should not post in this thread.

To keep this thread focused I created a separate thread for Nemo discussions here: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=1128776

EDIT Hey *waves at nicholes, Farby and Radicalz38* could you take it in the other thread?

Install in the emmc is medium-hard. You have to use a linux machine with a custom script and of course you will wipe fremantle installation.

If you have repartitioned your eMMC (reducing MyDocs and creating new partitions on free space) you can install Nemo on eMMC without removing Maemo.

It can be done also without using custom script on linux pc.
Of course it requires some skills, it is not for dummies

right forget the emmc install, i spent months trying to get it to work, but it would never ever flash my device :(

I use MeeGo / Nemo on eMMC since six or more months.
It is possible and it'snt so hard to do

But if you use 2 devices (aka eMMC + SD), you will get better performance than 1 device (only eMMC).

@Fabry
How do you do it? Is it by chroot? multiboot?, u-boot or bootmenu?
