SwipeManager 0.0.2 effective
Don't know if anyone is interested, but I made SwipeManager v0.0.2 (the version from Nokia Store, which I prefer using) effective by creating a symbolic link from new-mcompositor.con to mcompositor.conf.
Steps to execute: 1) open the terminal (don't devel-su) 2) cd to ~/.config/mcompositor 3) if both new-mcompositor.conf and mcompositor.conf exist, delete mcompositor.conf 4) if new-compositor exists, rename it to mcompositor.conf 5) make the symlink by typing: ln -s mcompositor.conf new-mcompositor.conf 6) reboot the phone |
Re: swipe manager 0.0.3 still effective even after uninstallation
i have to revive this thread because ive uninstalled swipemanager (it doesnt work on pr 1.2 as i found out too late) but the behavious of it is still there - as if it was still installed.
does anyone one know how to get rid of it completely? |
Re: swipe manager 0.0.3 still effective even after uninstallation
All it does is edit a configuration file that exists on the N9 as standard. It really should reset the file when you uninstall it but never mind. I think you need to reinstall it, set the values back to "normal" and then uninstall it again.

How to set to "normal"? There is no such option.

Re: swipe manager 0.0.3 still effective even after uninstallation
put It to normal behavior by changing the swipes to what they act originally and thats your 'normal'
