I just spent 6 Weeks roaming through the US and had no issues. I Had cellular data turned off so I was operating purely off the gps as the roaming costs were expensive. I pre installed all the maps before I left. I Usually got a lock within 30 seconds. The n9 was excellent and very accurate.

Also able to find businesses, etc in offline mode which was fantastic. Only had one routing issue in the entire 6 Weeks.
10/10 from me.

This is good to know. I will be back in California in a week so I will be able to test again :)
