That I do not know. Test it and see. Syslog gets noticed when wlanscan happens.

What a waste of power. On N900, you can set desired time between auto-scans manually, since on vanilla Maemo times. Even on my mother's device (where she have VoIP set, to always available, so colnnecting to WiFi when possible is essential), I have set it up to scan every 15 minutes. Scanning whole range of channels every 5 minutes is nice overkill for standby time.

Then set it to 15mins on the n9 (n950 for you) too...

Its pretty easy...

GConf value you want are interested in:

system/osso/connectivity/network_type/search_interval/
Its 300seconds by default...Just change it accordingly...

If you need just use GConfik to do the changes...
