I guess you can't close it in the applications view as this has no UI.

So the way would be to fire up a shell and type "top", note the Process ID (pid) of your charging notifier process. exit top (leave the console open) and type kill -pid, where pid is the process ID of your process. after that uninstall it...

Set Notifications to 'None', reboot the device and then go to Settings -> Manage applications and uninstall the app.

Thanks for the reply guys. I found out what was draining the battery. It was the "Bejeweled" game. When i play it for a little while the battery drains completely. After i deleted the game battery life is awesome.
