Re: Did anyone install Meego on Lumia?
Unfortunately, that apparently also updates the bootloaders to Nokia ones.
I'll look into obtaining a Lumia 710, and see how we can get code loaded on it. IIRC, someone got a bootloader for QSD Android phones running on it (which means, Linux kernels get loaded.) It's probably worth a try to use it. |

Re: Did anyone install Meego on Lumia?
Hi, I have to ask: besides this hardly-to-become true Lumia flashing, has anybody installed successfully MeeGo-Harmattan on a different device that the N9 at all?

Re: Did anyone install Meego on Lumia?
Why even try that? If I would ever try to port MeeGo somewhere I would choose a more capable device not a less.
Mer on the Note FTW! |

I ended up having to reflash. Perhaps this can be tried again one day with mtdswap and aegis fully disabled (got BB5 communication errors - does the N9 not use HSI/SSI anymore?) Quote:

Re: Did anyone install Meego on Lumia?
yes porting to the N900 makes more sense. Check out meego wiki. There are some hints for MeeGo on qualcomm

Re: Did anyone install Meego on Lumia?
The lumia 900 would be more worth the effort than the 800
