did you install with dpkg -i or "pkgmgr install-file -f fotoshare_0.9.0-3.deb"? As dpkg does not install depencies and the latter one does?

It's a bit difficult, but not impossible, because the app has no modular system to load different services, or something like this. But it seems that there are a good Python implementation for the Skydrive API, but it will take some time and some more versions. ;)

Hi

I installed always via the .deb file and double-clicked it to install. It also installed dependencies (about 1.9MB) each time, so I know it has installed the necessary files.

I have uninstalled from applications again, and installed again via the same method with the Dependency notice.

Still it hangs on "loading" then reverts to the homescreen....grrrr....

Any suggestions?

You can try to delete "fotoshare.cfg" and "fotoshare_offline.sav" in the folder /home/user/.config if they exsist. Do it with a file manager (Filebox,...) or with Terminal:

rm /home/user/.config/fotoshare.cfg
rm /home/user/.config/fotoshare_offline.sav
But I will try to reproduce this, because it should not happen! :confused:

Just a hint:
The N9's accounts Dropbox profile is not used for FotoShareN9. So it don't changes anything!

Not it isn't. If you want upload pictures to Facebook or Twitter you have to do it via gallery. :)

This is not planed, it's for photos, if you want share other documents you can use a Dropbox client, like Dropian or DropN9. Or do you lack on a ftp/sftp upload client?! In this case FotoShareN9 can't help you but it would be an interesting idea/new project. :D

BTW congrats on your work :) Might I say that that Dropian Free or Paid already uploads directly to Dropbox.
You can beat this by adding different and other clouds. ;)
