i use only Filebox and RootFilebox and both is working well. FileManager is a app , no Mod or Patch.

if update through OTA,nitdroid should be fine(i think),but flash,its a diff story,tried it just now..

Unrestricted system-ui = Working
Brightness-applet = Working (Had to reinstall after installing MT-Toggles)
Quick Status Updater = Working
MT-Toggles = Working (Had to manually kill sysuid)

Can you update the list to say whether the tests where done on a re-flash clean install of PR 1.3 or an update from PR 1.2, as some of these will only work with an update.

I believe if you have open kernel on PR1.2 and update to PR 1.3 OTA it does not update the kernel, hence why all the thing like nitdroid and Unrestricted system-ui still work when you update. But if you flash to PR 1.3 from flasher tool you get a new kernel, which is why they dont work.

unrestricted system UI will break your phone and wont let you install/unistall ANY app :) in order to fix it do as i do

you MUST have inception installed to fix this

OK, I started the update.
First call: "Inception, Optimizer (core) & OptimizerN9, will not work !
Next the download, took <4minutes.
Installing now, stays on 0% for a long time (3min), and is now on 10% after 8 minutes .
Hmmm, it seems to hang @90% install, already 15 minutes, total time now: 1hr2minutes :(

OK restarted and the messege is now : "Rescuing software update.
Please do not interrupt."

No WiFi
Info says: PR1.3 (30.2012.07-1_PR_001) seems OK.
WiFi fails, let me see why...

All in all stange way to update ;)

Update seems to be in place WiFi working etc.
I miss icons for overclocking and a few other tweaks ?
Maybe after their updates later.

As long as my N9 works I'm happy be :)

Or, you can simply download the package using apt-get: in terminal,

• devel-su -> rootme
• apt-get -d install system-ui
• exit
• cd /var/cache/apt/archives
• /usr/sbin/inception ./system-ui_1.3.2-1+0m8_armel.deb -> rootme
