Increased compatability with OS 2007 applications, in future this should mean being able to install the Mozilla browser and some other interesting apps (those which are not dependent on N800-specific hardware). However the current OS 2007 while stable is not the finished article, so you would be better off waiting for the next release which should be real-soon-now.

in os2007he the click sound is nicer when you tap the screen

I'll wait a bit longer... Hopefully there would be a sticky on the top of page saying that a stable release is out for everyone.
