I am in Switzerland and have the same problem, it keeps "connecting" but never get round to it !!! what can I do ? Thanks for your help

There is no need to uninstall the version installed on ur device, just quit your wazapp from menu then quit, and to avoid any problems with the new version it is advisable for you to delete the previous conversations (chat history) using filebox by finding the .db file under home-user-.wazapp then to b on d safer side just reboot your phone. Then you can just install the latest version by the usual way !!

You all should read the Announcment thread of wazapp. :)
If you do this you will notice that the connecting issue is related to a WhatsApp update. There are already new versions of wazapp. To solve this issue do this:

1. Uninstall wazapp and all it's related data (you will lose your conversations by deleting the .db file):

Solved... Solved.. Solved.. Finally.. the above link or the one I got from Omar... works like charm...

I uninstalled my Wazapp, deleted .db file and Wazapp folder..
Then reinstalled the latest from above thread.. It asked me to re-register and I had my same 3 digit code.. it worked.. and I m all set.... Thanks Omar and others too..

Don't do anything now , first follow these steps
1- Quit wazapp from the options menu from the bottom right corner
2- launch filebox, go to settings and enable "show root filesystem" then go back and find "home - user - then u find a folder called .wazapp, in this folder u can find the file with a string of numbers ending with .db , delete that and check in the media folder also which would be located just above this db file and delete the contents of that folder too !!!
3-Reboot your device .
4-now without launching wazapp install the latest file which you had downloaded before in the normal way (by double clicking the deb file) !
5-once the installation finishes reboot it once again to be extra cautious
6- Now launch wazapp and it is preferable if you use a Wi-fi network while launching the wazapp for the first time... This myt help

Note : It is normal that after installation the app may launch and get connected but then the msgs u send remain with the red dot and u myt not be able to receive any msgs from any1 and also u myt also not be able to see the last seen time , instead of coming back to this thread just try quitting the app and restarting it several times. Once it took almost 13 times of quitting and launching the app to get it working properly

the bug about mixed up contacts after a media transfer..
Every msg sent goes to the same person who received the media any solutions????

Dear All..

I have fixed my Connection issue and now my Wazapp goes live. but unfortunately, the new problem is, i m unable to send and receive the msgs on my new ver. of Wazapp 2.6.50.. (Cepi).

The msgs I sent to anyone, changes color from Red to Yellow, but doesnt get changed to Green (Green means delivered to oher device). Neither I m getting messages from my friends...

I have deleted the .db file alredy.... Pls assist ???
