Re: Can't Enable Developer Mode

devel-su likely doesn't exist on that device, as it is part of 'busybox-devel-su' package, which is installed with developer mode:

...
Package: developer-mode
Status: install ok installed
Priority: extra
Section: user/utilities
Installed-Size: 84
Maintainer: Nokia <I_EXT_HARMATTAN_DEVELOPERS@nokia.com>
Architecture: armel
Version: 1.48+0m6
Depends: duicontrolpanel-devmodeapplet (>= 1.14), develsh (>= 1.17), develsh (<< 1.18), sdk-connectivity-tool, meego-terminal, openssh-client, openssh-server, gdbserver, aegis-developer-unknown-source-policy (>= 1.26), aegis-dev-mode, busybox-devel-su, less, simple-syslog-daemon | sysklogd | system-log-daemon
Description: Developer Mode
...

Can you try to fetch the logs with file manager?

Hmm... package manager doesn't seem to log almost anything there, unfortunately.

Maybe you can then try from that mg-terminal to run a
Code:

apt-get -s install developer-mode
(-s is to simulate only installation, and it seems to work even without being root)

Re: Can't Enable Developer Mode

Well that seems to complete fine, no errors. Finds dependencies, lists packages to be installed, 12 new, then a bunch of Inst and a bunch of Conf. Can't find a way of copy/pasting mg-terminal output so here's some more screenies:

Re: Can't Enable Developer Mode

Hi, I have exactly the same problem, as was shown in the movie.

The defective screen has been replaced by Nokia and yet they have flashed my device.

After that I installed the backup from Nokia Suite and also the whole apps again and then I wanted to re-activate the developer mode. Now happened exactly the same as shown in the movie. My problem is that I have absolutely no terminal, so I also can not enter the commands, which are here proposed.

Please tell me if there is a way to re-activate the developer-mode, without having to do a complete flash, because I really don’t want to do all the work again.
