This is very strange I must say :)

Hopefully the battery monitor can give a little more insight to consumption at least.

One more question, do you find it gets hot very quickly?

No, this is actually surprising for me. My phone does not get that hot at all. My last N9 did get quite warm after extended use, but that was probably because it wasn't restarting every 10 minutes.

If you have warranty I would advice to get a replacement asap on the basis that the phone doesn't work as expected...

It could very well be a dud so why tolerate it :D
