Lumia or N9, you can't deny that the design is sexy. Minimal, stylish and functional.

It's a different kind of plastic slab.

I honestly don't like the design.

The feel of it is nice because its rough and soft... grips perfectly.
But its light so it feels cheap in the same time.
I don't like how its thicker than other devices, and how they deliberately used a lot of bezel.

Also the positioning of key components.

Its on "Samsung design" level for me, which isn't saying much.
Has anyone here compared the N9 to the iPhone 5... I don't like the teeny weeny size and gigantic bezel/elongated shape... but the materials and build quality are something to gloat about. If it didn't scuff so easily, and I was an owner, I probably wouldn't use it with a case.

there s a substantial difference between the cold aluminium of my old N8, and the cool plastic of the N9.

I'm gonna miss that N8!! :/

Kangal,

For one-handed use the N9's design is pretty good IMO...It beats almost every phone out there...

Samsung level? That's pretty de-grading of a phone whose build quality and materials are miles ahead of any plastic Samsung produces...In the Android world isn't the HTC OneX's design more valued than the Samsung GS2/3? And isn't the One X's design a cheap imitation of the N9?

This is the first time I've read someone say the N9's design is Samsung level... :rolleyes:

When you are swiping from the edges i would prefer to be swiping from bezel instead of from the shell of the device as the flow is better...Maybe you haven't used it enough to appreciate it?
