My brother was trying to download few videos from some website but it didnt download them. Code:
BusyBox v1.21.0 (Debian 1.21.0power2) built-in shell (ash) thats why i asked does it works for sites with multiple embedded video and not does it support website with multiple embbeded videos. |
Re: [ANNOUNCE] movgrab (latest) ...
Okay, with this information having given in first post would have saved from you from my little rant ;) Sorry for that.
It seems like the link on the site refers to another site where to download the video from (just like a lot of file sharers do). So I do not believe that movgrab is able to handle that. It can download videos only from sites where video is directly "embedded". But I am not the developer nor maintainer, so see this as an educated guess. |
Re: [ANNOUNCE] movgrab (latest) ...
Thanks a lot for this little big gem - using it, after just few minutes (of learning syntax and/or field tests) I was able to download things that never wanted to work by *any* other tools, including famous cutetube.
To the ^^^ above - you're using -t generic, which assumes video is embedded in normal (youtube'ishj way. Considering, that your video site isn't on list of officially supported ones, you may want to try other -t types - odds are, that your site uses same method, as other existing (and supported by movgrab) services. It's unlikely, that they have deployed own method, incompatible with everything else. /Estel |

you should cd to folder before using movgrab to save file to your desired folder. |
