Works wonderfully...until you use a very "Swipe" orientated Application.
I think you could make a thick Status Bar... it won't actually eat up much Screen Estate (because of the long 16:9 ratio). Now you can cram more information on the Status Bar. The left-corner of the Status Bar can act as the Home button. The Status Bar can be pulled down (like in Android), except in three different spots. The left should open all Active Apps, the middle should be Notifications, the right should be Quick Settings (toggle Wifi etc etc). There is no "Menu" button like in Android, but can be done so by the App's dev inside the App if they want it. There is a "Back" button like in Android, but it has to be implemented by the App's dev into the App and placed in a good area/interface. |
