Had to get away for a few days...
was thinking of the jet...
It's great for point A to point B...but not very fun...
Plus we wanted to see our recluse friend Jim...and it isn't very accessible by car or standard plane...and we wanted to go swimming...hike the glaciers and see if there was still snow for skiing up at Whistler.

Soooo...got JUST drunk enough....

up on his island on his lake is his "shack" hehe....he's got a few boats...but the only way in is by float plane. So we don't see him too often...

Drink and fly is great great. Atleast ain first class...

Nice images, end. I have been thinking about a plan laying on water. I might need one of these.

No parachuting or paragliding...those shots I took from inside the float plane....
am I into parachuting? ..yup..I do enjoy skydiving...
paragliding though?... No.
Give me one of those ridiculous looking "squirrel suits" and I'll jump off anything :D
Paragliding though....is an ugly, painful, undignified slo-mo accident waiting to happen :D

Having a sober driver and enjoying being a drunk passenger is completely cool in my books

Personally .. driving any vehicle drunk is not cool...just dangerous....except perhaps drunk with friends in bumper-cars :D
But usually some one spoils it by getting violently ill from the collisions and ends up throwing up on someone else :mad:
