On the 3 meetings (two postponed) there was exactly 1 person who could explain what open source is, and they talked about costs. Sure, TMO is not big in itself, but in mobile linux online world it can be huge. First 'kickstarted' reverse engineering effort to 'open source' wlan chip on n900? Here, we did crowdfunding before it was cool. If we get someone with big enough following just reaching to MS they can (and should) reach this conclusion: uber geeks, free PR, lets do it. |

yah, for sure Microsoft would do this. The first thing they did when buying Nokia was to close all n900 resources and tools.
