Had also the same issue. Fixed it by following pycage's way.
It also needed a reboot to show again my apps.

I can no longer update the OS or install apps from Jolla Store. I've followed your instructions, but to no avail.

'pkcon refresh' still yields this response 'Could not configure normal mode'.

I'd like to update to 1.1.9.xx but I'm getting nowhere fast. I can't install any apps, Jolla Store no longer shows apps that are installed. What am I doing wrong?

I deleted those folders, and everything works fine, i can donwload/update apps, both in store and warehouse, but i still get a similar error "Could not configure normal mode." as soon as i open warehouse app:

how to find which specific repo is not working and disable it?
