Re: Replaced battery, N9 now spontaneously reboots

Also, am I the only one who is still astonished by the stupendously low stand-by power usage of the N9? When I checked the battery monitor app in the pub earlier I got a warning: "Idle power drain has increased, was previously 7mA, now 21mA".

Seven. Milli. Amps. On a 3.8V battery. That's just 0.0266 Watts! Even 21mA seems insane (0.08W), considering that includes keeping the radio connection with the cellular network alive, as well as running various background tasks.

Surely this contravenes at least one of the laws of thermodynamics? Nobel prize for the engineers at Nokia?

What I would also do is check your previous battery with Nokia Energy Profiler.

My Google Fu is apparently to weak. Where do i find this?
B!

Settings->Security->Developer mode->Power analisys.
This should install the Energy Profiler.

To put these figures into perspective, a single LED typically draws about 0.05W. And I mean the small red/yellow/green indicator type LEDs you'll find on the front of a lot of consumer electronics. You'd be hard pressed to spot one from a distance, even in the dark. Yet this puny power consumption doesn't stop the cell tower from seeing the N9 over kilometre distances, or vice versa. Truly astonishing.

Oh, cool. Should have known, i guess.

Seams not to work currently, complains about compatability libraries (dev tools something) not being available, i'll have to look in to it when i get back home.
