if someone cracks usb host mode on the n900, it'd be interesting to see if it can decode DVB-T sufficiently fast to be able to watch TV on it.

I would like to know if is possible to compile the driver to watch TVs using USB video card that supports ISDB-T format that is the format for digital TVs in Japan and now in Brazil. Here in Brazil we have a lot of capture cards being sold and all cards are cheap and are supported by modern Linux distros such as Ubuntu 10.04.
