Looks like the US and Canadian tigerdirect/compusa stores have done the ol' switcheroo with prices:

Tigerdirect.ca now lists the N180 for $299 (was $365 before) while tigerdirect.com has it shown for $360 (was $299 before). I think someone is conducting some sort of an experiment. In any case, get it while it's hot!

It's in these moments that it sucks to be poor.

I believe they have a store in Richmond Hill for those that want to save the $15 shipping and a boatload of time with a quick pickup.

N810! Canada! $299!

I know they've got a brick & mortar in Markham (same difference) but being downtown Toronto sans car, I just ordered one last Sunday. I could do a return and re-buy @ $299 but I might just cut my losses and run I've been waiting so long for this thing.

That's right.. Markham, not Richmond Hill..

Hopefully the deal is going strong in 2 weeks. I think I'm going to take the IT plunge and purchase me up some tablet.

The thing is, I want an Acer Aspire One as well for portable computer lovin'. At $500 after taxes/shipping, the added weight of an N810 purchase makes dual purchase that much more difficult. Ah well, we shall see.
