For all of us that will be watching from home, there needs to be an n900 hat cam. Combine that with special name tags and AR software and we're in there. Every fifteen minutes someone else has to where it. I'm still thinking of penalties for refusing...

OMG real cool I didn't know it'd be demoed on such a large screen to mortals no less! What was the reply to the feature that there are subliminal messages downloaded from Google to zoom in to? Or was that the actual MKULTRA aspect of the project :D

My idea for attending the 2008 Summit (which I couldn't make) was as one of these.

I was already planning on getting zerojay and others to this Summit with a tablet, some speakers and Google Chat. Anybody got a propeller beanie we could attach it to?

Very cute, and normally I would say yes to this. But unfortunately, here's what I see happening: Spot, the n800 wonder doglet, would be just inside waiting to greet everyone. Our Fremantle star lcuk would arrive, not see him, trip and break his ankle.

But enough of that already; sorry for bringin' it up. Your sh*t rocks!

Actually, El Coq is the nickname of a famous freedom fighter.

It is a story of heroism and tragedy, honour and comedy.

A very young French soldier during the First World War was known as much for his exploits in love as his impressive abilities in the battlefield. He became known as Le Coq by his fellow soldiers, both for his agressive fighting on the battlefield and for his string of women and his flamboyant dress off of the battlefield.

Le Coq tried to settle down after the war, but he just couldn't... He ended up, twenty years later, a celebrated hero but a lonely and sad man.

When the Spanish Civil War started, he went to join the Republicans against the rebels, because he had no love for the Germans who were supporting the rebels.

He tried to tell the Spaniards he fought with that he should be called "Le Coq" but, not understanding that it should be "El Gallo," they insisted on changing it to "El Coq"

"El Coq," as he was now known, fought bravely and very well against the rebels, but he was undone by his weakness for women. A beautiful woman in a town near where he was based, Senora Delilah, was secretly a rebel agent. She waited until he was asleep in her bed, and then summoned the rebels to capture him and drag him away...

That's what happens when you think with your "El Coq"...

There is yogurt on my MacBook now. Please refrain from this sort of brilliant humour during my breakfast time, thank you very much.

My Delilah is more concerned with next food and shoe supply than anything and if I don't deliver a new job soon I'm afraid she will drag me off to work in the mines or something..

Let me know if they have an extra position in the mines for me.

Please do! In fact, you can have my share of the adult beverages. I'll be investigating whether the Dutch are as confused by my requests for water in a glass as the Germans were last year.

EDIT: Oops. Are you another young'un?

Just put the video on YouTube, or I will be forced to reveal details about that library that you are working on...

Alcoholic beverages aren't served in coffee shops anymore. Although coffee is. So you have to decide between alcoholic beverage and green magic. You need to be 16 to order a beer, 18 to order a strong liquor, and 18 to enter coffee shop.

lcuk 2009-09-29 15:41

how old do you have to be to *leave* a coffee shop?

In practice 18+ for if they doubt your age they ask for your ID at the entrance. Some shops always ask for ID. If police checks and someone under age is in coffee shop the business usually loses their permit, or if lucky might get warning/fine.

I'd say sclerotia with your application also neat. :o

Given Kees is from Amsterdam I'm sure he'll be a fantastic guide. :)

Oh, and there should be Club Mate served on Summit :)
