working for a research institute for thinfilm and surface analytics at a university

doing in order of priority
Emergency-Service for UHV-Equipment
Qualitymanagement (startup ISO 9001)
Webdevelopment for a double symposium next year (two symposia in one week next sept)
Operator ([S,D]SIMS AES XPS, if you dont know these dont further think of it)
but I get payed for a third of the last one mentioned due to some country claiming to be the one in the world doing a good job this year...

I work as a Technical Sales Consultant selling IBM System P servers, from blades to 64way 2TBRAM systems. Unix admin by trade, but working at a sales company for the last three years. Pay is much better, and has way better perks.

Anyone want to buy some IBM System P servers or any IBM/EMC storage product, give me a call.

Part time ("when needed" more or less ;)) administrating a local company's IT... Included, but not limited to setting up AD, migrating DC and all the other fun you can have in an all Windows-network. :)

~6 months and a few courses until I get my "Degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering" (Högskoleingenjörsexamen, for the swedes), Software Development oriented. :)

My business card says 'Principal Systems Architect', in practice I'm the senior infrastructure engineer for the managed hosting services division of a certain East Yorkshire telco. I have a team of 4 guys to make me look good!

Translates as: build and fiddle with relatively large scale implementations of E-Mail, DNS and web hosting platforms, plus the usual gammut of bespoke front-end and back office systems that go with it. Python coder both at work and at play - hate perl, can't remember enough C to save my life - and contributor to 2 or 3 Python-based open source projects.

And I really should be finishing off my powerpoint slides for the 2 3-hour training sessions I'm supposed to be delivering tomorrow, rather than frittering my bandwidth away here. :D
