Finally I got it all to work! It took a bit of digging but now my n900 is delivering candy to my ears. I had to download from extras-devel which was not clear from the start. Once I had that enabled I was way on my way. Enabling extras-devel instructions: http://thenokiablog.com/2009/10/27/m...-applications/ |

My 810's still not working with 0.8.1 - is there any troubleshooting info we can post?

Re: vagalume error message
Concerning the "Network Connection Error", I only get that if I am connected to my work WiFi. My company blocks our access to Last.FM.

Do you have such a setup at your disposal? If not, you may be able to get the same results using the deb-chroot+installing wireshark. If you're unfamiliar with the above, I (and others I'm sure) can gently guide you in the right direction. |
Re: vagalume error message
sorted now.had to edit the file above correctly :P couple of bits in there that shouldnt have been.cheers

Re: vagalume error message
It would be good if the app defaults to “my library” and therefore starts playing music as soon as the play key is selected. Presently when I press the play key I get a “no more content to play” message.

I think that's a good feature, and it's working fine for me here. |

Re: vagalume error message
FWIW, I can confirm the same behavior as Den. I'm in northern california, silicon valley. I think this changed after the whole 0.8.1 issue where it wouldn't connect at all...I'll be happy to confirm the change as well. And Thank You!

The thing goes more or less like this:

Re: vagalume error message
Can that default be "My Library" and will you give us an update to test?

This deserves a bug report, btw. Can you please file it? :) (I can do it later, it's just that I don't have time right now). https://bugs.maemo.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Vagalume |

Alberto, I see that you have a fix for Fremantle, if you provide a link for a Diablo, I will test it.

Re: vagalume error message
After flashing my N800, when I try to reinstall, it says I am missing libhildondesktop0, libhildonfm2 and libhildonwm0. Where can I find these files for down loading?
Edited: Sorry, I reflashed an old OS 2008. Disregard this post. |
Re: vagalume error message
I would love to have Vagalume to support key shortcuts for loving, next track and so on.
Also, a good adition would be an integration with eSpeak to tell the name of the song and band that is playin' (or will start to play). What do you guys thinks? EDIT: the shortcuts apply to n810 and n900, like pressing the > key to go to next track, L to love track and so on... |

BTW, my idea is to provide access to the functions without needing to look at the phone, so its great to use when it's dark, or at car. For the same reason I told about the eSpeak extension! |

Re: vagalume error message
I've just uploaded a package compiled for chinook:
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8975 It should work in diablo as well. Tell me if it's ok and I'll prepare a new release with this patch. Thanks! |

Alberto, version 0.8.3-1chinook2 works great on my N800. Is version 0.8.3-1diablo2 identical and can it replace my "chinook" install?

Re: vagalume error message
Alberto Garcia, I saw at bugzilla that you corrected the shortcuts for n900, did you put my suggestions as shortcuts too?
It was: Skip song: right arrow Stop: left arrow Love track: up arrow (like thumbs up ;)) Ban track: down arrow (like thumbs down ;)) Looking for the release ;) |
