It should not be hard to "port" a PyGame tower defence (which there are lots of).

Would anyone be keen on creating a good but simple tower deffence game? There are a number of flash games out there I know but due to obvious flash problems, perhaps a lack of internet or controls it would be nice to have one specifically for the N900... A good example would be warzone, a facebook game by mindjolt.

Hopefully this link will work, I am at work myself so I cant really check. It's really simple but perhaps we could add to it and do a mix up of many other tower defence games... Any takers?

just download the swf and open it with browser.....

e: you can even send the shortcut to desktop with the browser after you have opened the game first time

Ye I thought about downloading the swf file but was thinking of something more specific to the n900 with loads of different play modes etc.

Will have a look for a few flash games and perhaps download bu Im still keen on someone writing a game from scratch. ;)

I would port it, if I had enough freetime but I'm developing a game for console & PC already :(

That I would love to do! but just wouldn't know where to start :( I tried to look into it but doing the graphics part of things I just would have no idea.

Sorry did do a search but i was just wondering what and if tower defence games are available on the Nokia N900 (Maemo), these games can be very basic but very addictive? Cheers.

Just did a search on my torrent site, and someone has uploaded 122 tower defence games for PC. They are flash, so would they work with that flashlauncher app?

You could always try you hand at making one in Qt if you fancy it? i wouldn't mind a few tower defence games

Not unless it's either some port or emulation of some older game (read: from the mid-1990's) you're out of luck.

Fieldrunners on Android is great. You could use NITDroid for some actually decent games. None really for Maemo 5 that do not fit the aforesaid qualifications.

They released the source code to Revenge of the Titans.

It's a really cool Tower Defense game (hard too!)

Just downloaded and played a quick go on PC, yeah very good game, can build and upgrade alot of things. Would love a port of this XD
