Re: The N900 in Australia - what you need to know
hey guys.. 2 quick questions:
1) did anyone here order from Amazon before the end of Dec 09? if so, did you get a rebate? how do you activate the rebate? 2) i think i may have found 2-3 dead pixels on my phone (bloody annoying) and i may have to send it back. anyone here had to deal with the same thing? how'd you go about it? thanks! |
Re: The N900 in Australia - what you need to know
No rebate with Price USA, as the rebate is limited to one per customer, and their agent in the USA who places all the orders on Amazon only counts as one customer.
No word on warranty issues though, this is something I'm keenly interested in. |

Re: The N900 in Australia - what you need to know
Hey guys,
I just moved from the UK to Brisbane, arrived here last Friday. My feisty N900 (Summit pre-prod unit) accompanying me bravely and working superbly, unfazed by the heat and humidity. |
Re: The N900 in Australia - what you need to know
My friend was told by a service desk girl at Nokia that they were planning to release in February. He says she knew what she was talking about... somehow I doubt it. If I got a US version instead of waiting a month and getting a nextg compatible one I'm going to shoot myself in the foot xD
all 3 customers get access to the nextg network :) |

Re: The N900 in Australia - what you need to know
Hi everyone I tried connecting to Optus and even Optus couldnt help me because " It wasnt in their list " my daughter and I spent ALL morning on the phone with Optus to no avail. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with the configuration you all got in your Optus connected phone as I really do not like Telstra and would also prefer to use my old phone number that is connected with my Optus sim card.
Thank You |
