Why using the mesh? Can't you just use something else like transparency glass like on Win7 glass?

I didn't add the mesh, just hollowed out the circles that were already there to see how it looked. Transparent glass sounds like a totally different look.

I think you're talking about blue theme? I fixed that on .0.3 -version, but for you to see the changes you have to do a trick to get around another hildon-desktop -bug:
- Select the blue theme
- go to desktop setting > background > choose some other background set to use
- close settings and open them again > background > choose the blue theme wallpaper set to use

For some reason desktop background won't refresh if you're updating the theme and you have it in use already. Even reboot won't refresh it, you really need to go and select some other wallpaper set to use and then change back. Seems like hildon is full of these mysterious bugs :P

That's something you can easily modify for your needs. Just look under the folder
/usr/share/themes/dthemeCOLOR-themedir/images
and find the files you want to modify. There's a bunch of free image editors that allows hue changing to the PNG-files. IrfanView for example.

I have an idea.. The colour of the throbber in the top left could be changed to blue.. Like it flashes yellow when I get a text or an email.. could this be made the same colour as the themes?

Do you mean the taskswitcher icon and want to change into blue? I still think yellow stands out more clearly and is more noticable.

Each of these takes about 0,2-0,9 megs of rootfs. Rest 6-8 megs is optified.

Thanks installing the blue one, pictures are not showing on the 1st page tho.


also i installed the blue one. when i goto email app then nokia messaging, then goto my email accounts, the "new message" button got line detail where as all others are smooth.

also the ovi bar widget looks odd missing colour the "OVI" bit.

Yep. There seems to be some sort of communication problem with some finnish dns-servers. So my server is at the moment unavailable to some viewers (server which hosts the images). Hopefully it's going to up soon.

OVI widget is going to be fixed in next release (monday I think).
That button looks different since it's not the same button as for example phone app does (there's three different buttons in maemo 5; stylus, finger and thumb). I suppose I could make it look the same but I thought it was nice to make it look a bit different from others. I shall put that on to-do list :)

one more thing, do you think its possible to have the original yellow notication like for text,emails etc. the current one on theme is a light yellow and looks a bit faded lol also the 6 dots would look nice if it had some blue in it, will match my signal :P

why dont you make the media player and the icons have more transperancy like the original blue theme ? what i exactly mean that i can see the wallpaper behind them :S ... is it possible ? other than that they are a great themes :)

They are already 60% transparent and if I make them any more transparent it will loog ugly with any other bg-image (I have think those user also who wants to use my theme with some other bg image).

Go ahead and try to change the background image into N-series and you'll see the transparency is there.

Firstly, love the theme and thanks for the hard work you've put into it.

I would like to comment on the Alarms screen though, as under the Gold version (1.0.0.5) the writing under each icon below the words "Alarms" & "World clocks" is almost unreadable on the phone itself and not much better in this screen shot:

I was requested to make a silky smooth versions of basic D-THEME so...

Two new variants uploaded also: SmoothBlue & SmoothRed :)

I dont see anything much of a difference in this theme apart from the background colour and maybe a cple of tweaks on the menu button icon upon looking at the screen shots.

(btw changes between Smooth vs. regular D-theme are: buttons, homescreen widgets, top menu bar, task manager and backgrounds).

As far as I know changing battery etc. icons will affect to users other themes also and that's something I don't want to do.
