Tuesday 20th April, first thing in the morning, rolling out globally through the day. Except the UK who will get it in August.

I bet Nokia docent add task descriptions.

ironical full PIM functionality is only supported by Palm and 95% sported by Symbian. so I don't have a choice yet but will have an n900 for sale as soon as i find a phone that supports: Wifi, GSM, RDP, SSH, PIM with notes, task descriptions, and a search function.

My guess is PR1.2 will be released at 15th April 2010...

My N900's status area has that yellow blinking triangle since yesterday, but I didn't have the time to update it because I was occupied posting here at Maemo.org about PR1.2 release date!! ;)

I believe when the golden beard of Andre Klapper turns grey, and the day of judgement is upon us, then the holy 1.2 firmware will be beemed directly into our retinas. All shall rejoice on that fateful day, the 19th of April 2055, as un-stuttering media playback and portrait mode will become available to the 3 persons still clutching onto their n900s in their withered claw like hands. "Take me now, oh Lord, for I am ready, " they cry, "For I have now felt the slightly increased battery life and at last synced email with the work exchange mail server..."

So yeah, my bet is 19th April 2055.

i sould say " STOP THESE THREADS". really, it's kinda annoying. i'm the guy that check maemo.org everyday for news and check app manager every time. waiting for pr1.2, but still these threads should stop. maybe instead of making these threads you would make some apps for maemo5, all this energy is going nowhere.

the Maya predicted that the nokia N900 firmware 1.2 will be released on the 22 December 2012! I believe that also a movie was made about it!

Agreed, but if you tell the same joke thousands times, the joke not only is not funny - but it's annoying.
