to be fair you dont really need that slider boarder on lockscreen wallpaper - iv changed my background and it looks equally good without it (i think it looks good anyway lol).

I uninstalled the application since it was not working properly but I still have those earlier miss call notifications..i rebooted the phone but they are still there ?

On my n900 I would have to double click the button at the top to get this screen so I don't think it would be a cause of accidental calls.

Maybe a compromise would be to highlight it and when you swipe to unlock it automatically does what you highlighted, so to call back a missed call, it's a click and a swipe...

I got a N900 a couple of days ago and have installed Maenotify, I am also having the problem with some of the notifications are staying on the lock screen, being completely new to Nokia's and the N900, I can't find the /usr/share/themes/alpha/backgrounds/ folder path. I have downloaded the lockslider.png file - do I have to create the folder path under N900?

Hope you have installed rootsh app from the repository
Steps. [Ignore the (") while typing]
1. Download the Lockslider.png file to Nokia N900 directory only and rename it to lockslider.png
2. Open terminal
3. Type " Sudo gainroot"
4. Type "cd MyDocs"
5. Type "cp lockslider.png /usr/share/themes/alpha/backgrounds/"


That is it. It will now work as it use to work

Thx for the original picture, i search it since this morning ;)

I uninstall it due to the fact that the notification doesn't disappear till i delete the entry in call log.
I read what you say about "no way to get informed when you have been checked out the missed calls", too bad cause this appz is awesome http://talk.maemo.org/images/icons/icon14.gif

Uhm... many people said it is a bad behavior... but I could implement something to satisfy you...
I was thinking to make the notification disappear (from maenotify) when you unlock the screen, what you think about?

on the other hand,
since uve tapped into the lock screen,
can you possibly make a "slide to answer" a phone call?
cuz i seem to accidently cut or pick up phonecalls when i try to remove it from my pocket!
"slide to answer"
and
"slide to cancel"
would be AWSOME!!

I hope soon. Display the battery (and also the cellular strength level) is almost done, I'm trying to improve the code to make it to consuming as less resources as possible.

hi, its me again, well i managed to change the background of the blue default nokia theme, but when i do the same to other themes i downloaded, the background doesnt change, and the notices are still there after i uninstall maenotify.

why is this happening? any thoughts?

I have another problem.
Before I installed maenotify I had around 27MB in root left. After I installed it I had 11MB. now that I have uninstaled maenotify I only have 15MB left...how can I fix that?

My device's free memory decreased by .1mb (not a problem, but it shouldn't do that) when I unistalled this program.

Hi, app creator, this app causes problems with PR1.2

maybe due to similar problems with callnotify?

As of PR1.2, with maenotify installed, you cannot alter lockslider screen background

Yes, there was some changes in the event log database.
I have already partially fix it, I'll go to release a new version as soon as possible.

Would it be possible to display the next three coming events from the calendar instead of the last three (unread) messages?
I think it would make more sense because you can fit the most important things for an event on the lock screen but not more then the date and the contact for every message which is not very useful because the text is the most important thing.

after a long time, I finally uploaded a new version (0.4) on extras-testing :

Significant improvements:

• monitoring cellular signal strength

• monitoring battery percentage level

• display avatar for the contact

• displays the elapsed time for each missed event

Try to reboot (a reboot is highly recommended when you switch themes).
