Again: different forums. Different goals. Different purposes.

I realize that may seem to be semantics to some, but the distinction is very real. Any support you find here is 100% voluntary and neither officially supported nor sanctioned by Nokia. The company has specific forums for that, as has been stated here repeatedly.

And in general to all thread participants: do NOT discuss the Ovi 2.2 beta here. That is a violation of your agreement if you are a participant. You can debate the philosophy of that all you like, but it's really pointless to do so here. If anyone has complaints about Nokia's beta policies, take them up directly with Nokia. NOT HERE.

You're quite mistaken there. The N900 is manufactured by Nokia. I'm surprised at your lack of such basic knowledge of the device.

I did read your post Texy and as i said before on another post, this maybe not the official support forum but it is indeed a Nokia support forum as it is all about help for all nokia devices.
I was in fact joking with you by that remark not really being sarcastic lol.

Dude, you've gotta let outside information leak into your universe a little bit. Just so there's some synchronicity between your assumptions and everyone else's perception.

In this case, this particular forum is maemo's community forum. It's not MeeGo developers forum. It's not Symbian community forum. It's not a Nokia support forum.

It's maemo's community forum.
And it started out from InternetTabletTalk forum.

Yes Ovi 2.2 will support N900 and It might be out around the time N8 is out ( I'm just guessing )

This forum is about maemo. Just because maemo runs on nokia devices it does not make this a nokia support forum in any way, it is a maemo support forum.
