Sorry for being such a noob but I cannot get it out of airplane mode when I deselect and go back its selected again.Where can I get to apn setting cuz mobile networks isn't highlighted.Thanks :D

This page is for the Gentouch78, and at the bottom there is a WiFi gadget that I use on my GT to turn wifi off when I turned airplane mode on. Maybe it will work on the N900?

Edit:
There's another app on there that I used to turn Airplane Mode on in the first place. I don't want it off (The simulated GSM radio still manages to drain the battery like crazy even though it's only a virtual radio. Yes.) so I haven't checked if it turns it off. But it might.

Try on maemo side to remove pin code in settings. If done, try Nitdroid and it should work....
Did at least for me the magic as nothing else worked :D

Hello,

I installed Nitdroid 0.0.8 earlier today using the autoinstaller, and the installation process went ok. However, of some reason using this version I am not able to get past the initial Google server sign-in (even though I have supplied the correct credentials, and being connected to the Wifi network). With the previous version I had no such sign-in problems. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

70 mb the tar.bz2
+/- 120 mb when you extract the files

Its approx 75mb so can take a while as everyone must download from the same server. use conky to monitor download speed.

i finally installed nitdroid and my only problem is the errors which are freezing the phone for a couple of seconds...Does anyone know why? Is it going to be stable in the future?

i have installed this on my 1gb class 2 kingston sd microsd. and IT WORKS GRAET! i downloaded some apk, mainly opera, astro, toggledata. and played using my 3g connection. even installed asphalt 5 HD, plant vs zombies. no complaints here. battery life is OK too!

and i wanna say a big thank you to dj_steve, e-yes and jay-c and everyone involved. you gais rawk!
