Re: [Announce] Quando Parte, an Italian train station monitor

note: for the fix to work you may still need to remove QuandoParte.conf

rm /home/user/.config/cirulla.net/QuandoParte.conf

Re: [Announce] Quando Parte, an Italian train station monitor

After a long hyatus, I have restarted working on Quando parte. Version 0.6.0 is out now.

I have published it on Openrepos:

https://openrepos.net/content/mikelima/quando-parte

A slightly updated version is out for Harmattan, and a preliminary build is out for SailfishOS too.

Changes for the Harmattan version:
- Added a dark theme option
- Revised the train station data
- Fixed the service URL.

I hope you'll like it, and if you notice problems with it, let me know.

Also Bologna stations don't work...

Re: [Announce] Quando Parte, an Italian train station monitor

Thank you to all people that answered.

I checked the reported issues:
- I have found what went wrong with Bologna
- I will check the Friuli problem; the stations are extracetd by OpenstreetMap data, but either the stations are missing, or they have been inserted with a different convention than the one I expected.
- I am having problems building on N900 at the moment, but will look into that as well.

I will try to do a new release within next weekend, but the Friuli problem likely means quite a bit of work... As a hack, I can manually add the 4 stations lorenzo cited, though.

Thanks for the information... I can find Taranto in my new shiny Sailfish version... I will update the Harmattan port during my christmas vacation.

Re: [Announce] Quando Parte, an Italian train station monitor

I just uploaded QuandoParte 0.7 to openrepos, for SailfishOS and Harmattan:

https://openrepos.net/content/mikelima/quando-parte

The station list is updated, and a long click on the station list will pop up a context menu, from which it is possible to open the map centered on the station coordinates. On Sailfish, it is also possible to mark stations as favorites, which will move them to the top of the station list.

Give it a try!

If there any chance to see version 0.7 on n900? Thanks.

Hi Luciano!
I wrote you by email about stations' name recognition..
have you found a solution on matching OpenStreetMaps' names and stations' names?
