It makes sense to me that everything just go back to Maemo.
After all MeeGo (proper) has been abandoned by Nokia, & now Intel.
Nokia's been quite subtle about the MeeGo name in their marketing for the N9.
In practice it's all not going to be so simple unfortunately... :(

Yes, I agree it's a mess IMO. Too many scattered sites and resources. I hoped Nemo/Mer will eventually create an self identifiable infrastructure, but even that isn't going to happen it seems.

Nokia haven't been too averse to using maemo.org infrastructure for other projects in the past (see pys60). Harmattan is at least somewhat related. Besides, if they're still using the servers, hopefully it gives them some incentive to keep the lights on a little bit longer.
